Re: PowerPoint File Menu not on menu bar

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Removing & reinstalling *rarely* does. Before anything else you now have to
re-apply all updates for Office if you haven't already done so. Also, repair
disk permissions. Then you'll be ready to fix the menu :-)

First of all, go to View> Customize Toolbars & Menus. On the Toolbars page
click the name of the Menu Bar then click the Reset button.

If the File menu doesn't reappear after you OK out go back to the same
dialog's Commands page. Select Built-In Menus in the Categories list then
drag File from the Commands list to it's rightful position on the PowerPoint
Menu Bar (not the main menu).

If you still have a problem reply with your results including specific OS X
& Office version numbers. It may be necessary to go a bit further.

Subject says it all. Is there any reason that I don't have a "File" menu? I've
tried removing and re-installing. Didn't change a thing
