I have about 500 images in my iphoto that I'd like to use as
background photos in PP. The problem is that I cannot view them
through the regular "insert background" route. I only get file
names. Is there a way to view all of these without opening one file
at a time?
Hi,
When you use insert > picture > from file a dialog box opens. Near the top
left part of the dialog box you should see a little bar with three different
symbols. These symbols control the view. If you click on the far right
symbol you should see each photo's preview. You can use the up and down
arrows to move through the list.

Thanks for info Jim... problem is I don't see those symbols you're
referring to. I was however able to get through to the files I wanted
and get a preview in the next pane. But this is not how the PC
version of PP worked. In the PC version, I would highlight the slide
in the slide view> right click>slide background. In slide background
window>scroll down the drop down menu>fill effects>picture tab>select
picture. This would take me to my photos and display all of them...
about 4 wide and all the way down (16 per page?). There I would
scroll through the whole list relatively easy and select the image I
wanted.
Are you telling me I can't see all my pictures this way? That I have
to go through one at a time? Yikes! Can't I simply see all my pics
and images like in the iphoto, library... all at once? It would seem
awefully tedious to go through one at a time. Please Help!
