Re: Formula errors

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

If you select one of those cells that has the green flag you'll see an Error
Alert button appear adjacent to the cell. If you click that button the menu
that pops open will tell you what the error is - In this case you have a
formula that refers to one or more cells which do not contain values.
Technically that's a no-no in a work***:-) But you can dismiss the error
if you wish from the choices in the button's menu.

If you go to Excel> Preferences - Error Checking you can choose what type of
errors get flagged in that manor.

We have several invoices that are showing errors (little green triangle in top
right corner of cell) for cells that have no numerical entered. Why is that?
If I enter zero in A1 and B1 and D1 then my formula for E1=(A1*B1*D1) works.
But, if no number is in there I get the error.

What am I doing wrong?
