Update: I got a copy of FuncRes from someone, put back a single copy, andI think this is one case where deleting and reinstalling office might help.
I'm
back to the original problem. I cant just turn off the add-in, though, I use
VBA. Plus, now, when I go to the add-ins menu, the Analysis Toolpak (not the
VBZ one) is listed as ------. selcting it again does not help. Stop me
before
I make it worse !
Try running remove Office from the install disk, empty the trash, restart
the machine and reinstall. Then restart again, repair permissions and then
try it.
Ugh. There have been a bunch of updates. Is there a way to custom install
so that I don't have to go through all that updating all at once ? Are
there updates that are skippable ?
have others in questionable locations, I think the best approach in your
case is to remove Office, reinstall from the original disc and the reapply
all the updates.
