I also get the freeze on excel 08. Am on version 12.0 (07113). The freeze
seems to be prompted by customising the toolbars. I also have the 'freeze the
panes' tool which someone referred to as causing the problem. I know that if I
move the toolbars or customize them i can almost surely get the freeze. I have
