When I use the income template, I understand I can add columns like Company

Is there a trick to accomplish this?
The templates aren't very customizable. I.e. you can add new categories but
they are always under "my categories". I would like to create new category
group like
"Misc" --> "indirect expense"
"Misc" --> "direct expense"
AFAIK, neither of those are do-able.
Please make that suggestion with Help/Send Feedback...
Ledger Sheets are a half-measure at best. In an attempt to be simple
enough to "click and go", they tend to be cumbersome. Adding just the
features you suggest would go a long way toward making them more useful.
