Do we have to dump the OSX platform and jump into Windows ? Is that what
Microsoft really wants ?

If anyone knows how to make the GETPIVOTDATA function work in both platforms
and make a transparent exchange of functions without losing the connection
of the links let me know. I feel I have wasted my time.

Hi,

According to Excel 2004's help file GETPIVOTDATA is supported in Mac Office. Do you have a specific example of such workbook that works in Office 2003 but does not work in 2004? If you post it to the internet for download we (meaning others who read the newsgroups) can check it out to see what the problem is and if need-be we can send the troublesome workbook to Microsoft for further analysis.
