A general Google search of "excel latitude longitude" (without the quotes)
yields

Attempting to convert lat/long from degrees minutes seconds (dms) to
decimal degrees (dd). That is, I have data in dms and enter that into
columns of latitude and longitude. I want each cell to convert the dms
to dd.
I'm not able to find the formula or method in Excel Help (Excel 2004
11.2.4) or in a Google Groups search of this ng. There must be a way to
do this simple operation though...?
