we simply have a difference of opinion.
As for your Hard Drives. Being damaged representing a days work; I have some files
that go back 10 years on my Hard Drive that were transfered from one hard drive to
the other, as I changed machines. And I have some on Floppies, Jaz, Syquest/EZquest,
and even Zip drive Cartridges that probably go back to my SE/30 Days.
I have one Quicken file I use several times a month that has information about 2
Fidelity Advisor Accounts that go back to 1993. (That's 11 years old.)
So a drive being orver written or or driver distroyed, would be a catastrophe for
me. Probably bring on thoughts of suicide.
I backed up files at least weekly for a while until the Travan drive I use just
wasn't big enough to handle all my applications and files.
I have about 16 gb on a 30 gb hard drive and 23.42 GB on a 120GB Hard Drive worth of
files, applications, and system files.
So if I as using windows I, would be a Basket case, and my current problem with
Reflux disorder would be a full blown ulcer.
But still beleive we should aviod porting over Active-X to Mac even on OSX.
In any event let us let the subject rest.
