Addressbook drag and drop failure: unable to drop into PageSender's fax printer's destinations listfield

Email Client: pop
Since migrating an old Powermac G4 tower from OS X Tiger to Leopard, I discovered that dragging and dropping an Addressbook record into the destinations listfield in SmileOnMyMac's PageSender's fax printer dialog no longer works. While hovering on said listfield, the cursor will turn into a '+' sign, but releasing the mouse button won't add the record's fax number. It works OK in Entourage 2004, also in current Entourage 2008 and OS X Tiger. Apple's AddressBook.app works, though.
I described the problem to the developer of PageSender: he seems to find Entourage starting following the protocol for placing the relevant data in the clipboard but failing to complete the procedure. He can be found at <

My setup is:
-Powermac G4 Dual 1 GHz ("Quicksilver")
-OS X 10.5.7 with all current updates
-PageSender 4.5.1
-Microsoft Office 2008 (updated up to 1219) Spanish
-No APE or other problematic additions: this is a clean install.
(I described this issue in the Product Suggestions form, too: I apologize if that wasn't appropriate)
