Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Diane/Ed

Thanks for your advice.

Although I have used the Pane view for only a day, I think I can get used to
it.

BTW, I was reading some of the articles in the links Diane provided. They are
very helpful. I read that Parallel and Fusion may be better alternatives
(despite the added cost, I think) than bootcamp. I have a macbook pro and use
it mainly for surfing and communication and some work. As for the latter, I
have the MS Office 2008. I also have PS Elements for photos.

Frankly, I don't want to install Win as this would defeat the purpose of
getting a Mac!

Also, I have been told by the shop I got it from that I don't need anti virus
s/w. Is this sound advice?

Best wishes

TC
