Disappearing Links

Hello-

I did not see a clear answer to the questions about disappearing links, etc. Several hundred links disappeared from my Mail, apparently following a database rebuild. Links are billed by MS as a feature, yet they seem pretty fragile, to be kind, if they cannot withstand use of the Entourage repair utility, or if some other mystical conditions are required for them to function reliably.

What are my options? Re-install the entire application? Re-install the last update? Please help. Thanks!
