It seems that there is an issue with setting up meetings out of a
public folder calendar. We are using Exchange 2007, and have the
latest SP and updates on the client. If you set up a meeting request
out of the shared public folder calendar (utilizing your exchange
account), and you invite yourself along with others, it will send it
out to everyone but it will not send it to your local email and
calendar. It did and still does work with Entourage 2004 and Exchange
2007. Possible bug? It doesn't seem like the most important thing in
the world however our Photo Studio sets up meetings in the shared
calendar and sometimes invite themselves so it is in their Exchange
calendar. Any ideas?
Public folder calendars can't invite people. People can invite people.
Are you sure the persons sending the meeting invites aren't already getting the invites put on their own calendars?
