Those actions exist only for incoming mail messages, not newsgroup posts.

Go to Tools > Rules, click the "News" tab, and click "New". Create a rule
that looks like this:
Name: Killfile
*Execute if any criteria are met
IF Subject Starts With MI5
IF Subject Starts With M'I5
IF Subject Starts With M-I'5
<etc.>
THEN Do not show article

Check the "Enabled" box at the bottom of the window, and click OK.

Better yet, switch to a real news reader like MT-NewsWatcher, where you
can kill all possible mutations with a single filter/rule:

Kill if Subject matches the regular expression: M[^\w]*I[^\w]*5
