I tired all of that, (below) AND going thru the yahoo address verification
nonsense, and nothing worked. Finally, I put "send all" on a schedule of
every minute. I found that it takes anywhere from 3 to 10 tries to send an
email, so now, the emails get sent eventually, within 10 minutes (at most),
without me having to try hitting "send" over and over again.

ATT/SBCglobal.net-Illinois has upgraded its security. They had a voice note on
the tech support site. I needed a voice support to pull this off as the
prescribed protocol did not work as anticipated.
Settings for sending mail through ATT
Tools&gt;Accounts&gt;Mail&gt;Sending Mail&gt;Advanced
Select SMTP service requires secure....
Select Override default and set to 465
SMTP requires authentication

This initially did not work so we intentionally created a second verified ID
through the yahoo mail settings but did not make this the default. Somehow
this action triggered something with the account to make the original default
(Name with upper and lower case) no longer a problem.
