I did quit everything (including , and after the update my Entourage is
still showing 12.0.0. In addition, my Office Reminders is still at 12.0.0.
I am running on
Intel (MacBook Pro)
10.4.11
Still have Office 2004 installed
Also, when I ran the Auto Updater, it wasn't finding any update. I
downloaded the update dmg and ran manually.

How do you uninstall the update? All my Office Apps are at 12.0.1
EXCEPT Entourage which is at 12.0.0. I made sure the database daemon
wasnt running and then tried to reinstall, but it will not allow me to
choose a volume on which to install the update!
Well, in order to fix the issue, I completely uninstalled Office, then
reinstalled it, made sure nothing was running (check the Database daemon
in the Activity monitor to make sure it is not running and quit it from
there if it is), then reinstalled the update.
Now everything on my Mac is 12.0.1,
