Entourage 2001 database issues

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

My sister is experiencing a database rebuild problem that is not
repairable using the normal or advanced database rebuild utility in
Entourage, (Entourage reports that rebuild failed in both cases)

Can the database be removed? Will Entourage build a new one? Does
anyone have another solution?
