I just want an "All Mail" folder or view - don't like "inbox, don't like "sent" - possible?

I don't like keeping messages that I don't need so I find myself
always deleting messages that I've replied to (when I've included the
original email in the reply). So with this as my system, I don't
really care much for a "inbox" or a "sent" folder. What I want is the
ability to see "all mail" because from there is when I can see the
everything in one place. I once tried to run a script with one of my
pop accounts that took my sent messages and moved them into my inbox
so I could keep my inbox as my "all mail" folder. But the script
didn't work right, so I just kept manually moving all my sent mail to
inbox and from there filing appropriately.

I like that GMAIL has an All Mail "folder" (I put folder in quotation
marks because I know it's not a folder really but more of a label) in
their web view of gmail and if it was up to me, I would have that set
to be my default view instead of Inbox. In fact, i would prefer not
to have an inbox or sent mail in my GMAIL either.

I'm going to be setting up my GMAIL account via Entourage to be IMAP
now. Would it be possible from there to maybe get rid of the Inbox
and/or sent "folders." Or at the least, are there any other steps I
can take to make "All Mail" my default view other than just not
deselecting ALL MAIL?

I'm so glad GMAIL has the "all mail" and label system. I always hated
in Entourage (or everything else I've used for that matter) when I
have to choose if a message belongs in one folder or another. With
gmail, I can put multiple labels on a message.
