Hello,
We are using Entourage 2004 (11.3.6) with Exchange Server 2003. We
have a fairly basic public folder hierarchy, with a top level and then
subfolders. For the purposes of this, consider our top level as
having just Calendars and Organizers, then sub-public folders under
these.
The last academic year (we are a school), this worked fine via
Entourage, OWA, and Outlook. At this point, however users with
Entourage can see the Organizers folder but not the Calendars folder.
If those same users login via OWA or Outlook, they see all of the
folders, so it doesn't seem like a permissions issue.
Based on one of the articles I found, I also tried "Connect to
server..." in the Finder on the mac to connect to the public folders
store. In this case, I still see only a limited set.
I'm wondering if this change resulted from one of the updates over the
summer - no other major changes have been implemented.
Haven't been able to find anything useful on Microsoft's site or
anywhere else on the net, so any help would be appreciated.
Hi Tim!
Would one of the updates over the summer happen to be an upgrade to Exchange Server 2007? If so, I'm seeing several reports of public folder problems with Exchange Server 2007.
This blog post has a few links that may point you to some answers if you're using Exchange Server 2007 <http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2007/08/entourage_requires_legacy_applications_software_for_function.html>.
Hope this helps!
