I have a number of PCs working with Exchange Server 2003 no problem.
I have Entourage 2004 on 2 macs, and when I look at Calendars, things
are all screwed up. It seems to be a problem with events that are
"all day". They are frequently off by one day, and when i check, they
are not assigned to any time zone. The time zone on the mac is set
correctly to EST, via the Systems Preferences.
Even after I fix the event, the problem persists.
This is NOT the time zone issue related to recent changes. I've been
fighting this for a long time.
HELP?
This actually happened to me today and I've had reports from others in
our company about this problem. After experimenting with my event, I'm
convinced this is a problem with Outlook or the Exchange Server but I
can't say exactly what it is. Somehow, Outlook no longer honors the "all
day" setting and shows events from 11:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Two days
will stretch to three this way and so on.
Look at the same problem event in Entourage, Outlook, OWA on a Mac and
OWA on a Windows machine. Even the OWA events, which should be
identical, are different.
I eventually deleted the event and entered it via Entourage. (I'm not
sure where I originally added the schedule to my calendar.) All
calendars were normal then. I do know that others in my company
reporting this problem were scheduling via Outlook.
Wish I had a better answer for you.
