I tried this again. I'm pretty sure I did it as you had described the
first time. This time, when I got to the choose which components to
remove, there were only the choices Remove Microsoft Office 2004
(including a second box for don't remove files I have created), and
there was Remove selected office 2004 system files. There was no
reference to the Test Drive.
This is strange. Did you empty the trash?
