How does Entourage import & use iCal calendars?

I've been struggling to import my iCal calendar into Entourage (and Paul
Berkowitz has been very helpful).
I have a question, though. In iCal, there are numerous "calendars" that are
saved separately, but can be displayed together. When I imported those into
Entourage, all of the calendars are displayed together (and that's fine).
But when I look in the "home/library/calendars" folder, ALL of the
individual iCal calendars appear, and they all seem to be updated together,
even if I don't have iCal open. And they all display the "Entourage" icon.
Which of these many calendars is the one that Entourage is accessing? I'm
assuming it's the one named "Other", since I didn't have one of those on
iCal. Can I delete all the other iCal-related calnedars in this folder?
