Hi,
you can change this behaviour in Safari's preferences. Under the "General"
tab, you'll have to change the default web browser from Safari to Internet
Explorer. Now that's what you wanted to know, but here's my recommendation:
unless you have a really convincing argument why you would want to do that,
DON'T! Safari is in my opinion way superior to Internet Explorer, and one of
the reasons is that Internet Explorer is no longer being developed, so it is
actually a security risk to use it. Also, in these days, I would not want to
have to deal with a web browser that doesn't do tabs, so that's why I
wouldn't even consider using IE, except perhaps to open the odd webpage that
doesn't open with Safari. Give Safari a try, and I'm sure you'll like it;
it's part of the Mac experience! ;-)
