Capitalization headache...

Okay, I know this must be obvious somewhere and I'm sorry to bother you
all with it, but I can't seem to figure it out. I often use spelling
constructs like "www." and "e.g. xxx". Entourage insists on
capitalizing (here) either the first "w"-- "Www."-- and first "x"--
"e.g. Xxx" and I can't turn it off. I think I've tried all the
spelling options but to no avail. Help! Thanks for your forebearance.
