That sounds bad - what makes you think this is really an Office 2004
upgrade? I've never heard of something called "creative".

No problem. My guess is that you're on a brand new machine running Tiger
(Mac OS X 10.4). It doesn't come with the software needed to open a
"sit" file, which is called Stuffit Expander. To get it, go here:

You have to jump thru a bunch of hoops, but eventually you'll find
you're on a page where you can specify OS X 10.3 (version 9.0.2 of
StuffIt) and push a download button. Once you've got it installed,
restart the computer and you'll be able to open .sit files. m.
