Re: fake (antispam) reply address - newby question?

Try using another newsreader. MT-NewsWatcher <http://www.smfr.org/mtnw/> is
free. If you choose to use Entourage as your news reader, here are the
appropriate instructions.

Go to Tools > Accounts, and create a new mail account. If the Account Setup
Assistant appears, choose to "Configure account manually". Name the account
"Fake" or "No Spam" or something like that. Enter your name in the "Name"
field, and the fake address in the "E-mail address" field. Leave the
Receiving Mail fields blank, and type in your real SMTP server in the
appropriate spot. Click OK to save the account. Now, click the "News" tab,
and open your news server. Double-click to open your news server. Under
"E-mail account", select the fake one you just created, and click OK. Now
news messages will have the spam-protected From address in the headers.
