The security preferences are new in Office 2004.

Not followed the star t of this thread, but if you are experiencing crashes
with HTML mail, this has been greatly improved in v2004. However, there were
also enhancements in vX as it went through various upgrades. Make sure your
copy is fully up to date. See here for details:
