Have you tried a rebuild of your database? It may or may not offer a more
stable fix.
But it sounds as if you may have an unorthodox IMAP server which may be
doing, or not doing, things expected of servers using modern IMAP protocols.
I have two different IMAP accounts - one on my university's server (a
UIDPLUS IMAP server - Cyrus), and the other .Mac. I've have never had any
problem of this sort in several years of using Entourage. Many many people
who had some issues with Entourage X have no problems with Entourage 2004.
That's why I think it could be a database problem - rebuild the database.
But I also notice you have your own domain. Is it your own server? Are you
sure it's (able to be) set up properly?
In any case, your message was not worded as a request for help. I don't
think you'll find many people here who would agree that Mail is a better
application. Chances are you have some problem with either your database or
your IMAP server.
