Some things to try:
* Turn off the junk mail filter. There was a badly-formatted junk message
floating around the past few months that crashes the Entourage filter
* Log into your account through a web mail interface or using another client
and delete the first message in the queue. That message might be causing a
problem
Try Sending separately from Receiving to see if one or the other is causing
the problem. If it's receiving, try each account you have separately to
further narrow.
