This isn't strictly an Internet Explorer problem but out of like the 1000
possible groups this seemed like a good choice.
When I am in explorer now on some pages when I navigate about them it asks
me if I want to give the webpage access to my clipboard. I have been clicking
allow access to let the pages load. This has only begun happening in the last
day or two. Today I am finding that I cannot Copy and Paste anything in
Explorer or any other Microsoft application (Word, Notepad, etc.). I have no
idea how this occured or why it is happening. I have made no changes to the
operating system nor anything else. Yes I have done the standard Microsoft
'fix' of "Shut it down and turn it on again" to no avail. And I really just
enjoyed telling someone I am working on a 4 million dollar business deal with
that I couldn't send him an important URL because I could no longer cut and
paste .... making me of course look like an idiot.
Any help is appreciated.

First off, which operating system are you using? You posted your issue on a
newsgroup dealing with Internet Explorer for the Macintosh. This is not a
Windows newsgroup.
If you are using a Macintosh, are you using Mac Classic (OS 9 or older) or
Mac OS X? Your copy-n-paste issue might be easily fixed on Mac OS X by
repairing disk permissions. I'm not sure what a Mac Classic OS fix would be
since I've not had to search for one.
I wish I could be of more help but without knowing what OS you're using, I
cannot even begin to suggest where you could look for an answer. My final
bit of advice would be to say, "Google is your friend."
Best of luck.
