Installation suggestion: Percent progress bar (following custom).

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Installation suggestion: Percent progress bar (following custom in the
industry).
When I downloaded IE 7.0 today, the downloading was replete with timing
information.
But when I started the installation process, instead of timing info (such as
the customary percent progress bar), I was presented only with a flying
activity line which kept recycling from screen left to screen right, giving
no clue to percent completion.
Not to be sarcastic (false), but it's time MSFT set a minimum age on its
Bangalore staff at 8 years, so as to make sure they have been exposed to
these programming norms (let's call them cultural human-machine interfacing
norms).
