Has anyone noticed any problems typing in fields using IE for Mac? I
don't know why I can't read what I'm typing. It looks like it's using
an unrecognized character set. I have to use Safari for now and some of
the sites I need to work on require IE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried Firefox?

Another solution would be Virtual PC, where you could run the Windows version of IE.
