Recently changed the Proxy server on our NT domain from an NT server running
IIS 3.0 and MS Proxy 2, to a Win2K server running IIS 5.0 and MS Proxy 2.
Our Mac lab has G3 PowerMacs, running Mac OS 8.6 and IE 5.2 for Mac. When
they go on the Internet, it seems that they drop off when trying to load a
page with slide show pictures. This sometimes locks their domain account.
There have been times that after a student gets dropped from the network on
the machine they were using, they cannot log back onto that machine, but can
log onto the machine next to them.
I have the Proxy set to "unlimited" as far as timeouts go.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Dave
