Should i turn on any registry settings on registry for starting log mechanism?

One of steps that you must to check:
- Run the IAS management console
- Select Remote Access Logging
- Right-click Local File
- Select the Settings tab in the Local File Properties dialog box.
- Second type of events "Authentication request events" must be
checked.
