I hope this has not been answered in a previous post (I cannot find it
if it has been). I am trying to determine if Windows server can be
used for the L2 handoff for xDSL connectivity. The wholesaler is
providing the LAC so I am searching for a successful implentation of
Windows 2000/2003 server used as an LNS for L2TP handoff for xDSL
tails.
Will Windows create the virtual tunnels and are there any known
limitations?
The intention is to use IAS for both the primary L2TP tunnel (and
therefore virual tunnels for each xDSL client) as well as radius.
Though I am not having any luck finding a reference relating to my
proposed implementation on the technet or any other place for that
matter.
Cheers
Hi there --
You might want to review the topic "IAS and tunnels," at
http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/library/232cc944-cb86-45cb-

It might contain the information you need.
In addition, I have forwarded your question to the product team. If I
receive a response I will post the information here.
