hi chris,
we also use syslog for all this logging. I only installed a syslog
deamon and so all logs are sent to our management server.
i think this is the best method to handle all this logging stuff.

Thanks for that Eric,
Just one more thing...
So I understand that IAS can put the logs into SQL database, but can it use
just any SQL database through ODBC or it works only with MS SQL?
Or does IAS support Syslog? If so could we skip using any database and put
everything straight into Management Syslog.

Hello,
if you go to your "internet authentication service" you can choose
under "remote access logging" where you want to store your accounting
data.
you can log to a simple textfile or you can store everything into a SQL
database.

Hello,
We are looking to use IAS, and I am trying to udnerstand what I can use to
store the accounting logs or whether accounting logs are actually created?
Does the product use some kind of Win2003 event log or is there a MySQL
database created?
Thanks
.
