We are running MS IAS on a w2k domain controller as a radius server for
VPN connections. I noticed when I run a report (Hyena or Quest
Reporter) against A/D to see "user accounts that have never logged on"
names are shown that are actually active remote users.
Questions:
1. Is there a reason why it does not show in Active Directory?
2. Is there a way to populate AD from IAS so when I run a report it
will show when user accounts login? (The user account shows in the IAS
log)

Why not automatically run the script, either as the final task in the overnight run or later as a cron job, and have it e-mail you the report?... You have a choice of scheduler: cron for jobs that always run at the scheduled interval and "at", that a process can use to schedule a following job. ... martin@ | Martin Gregorie...
