Strange IAS Error message

Hello,

usually a successful authentication looks like this in my syslog:

User host/Ferret1.ferretdomain.net was granted access.
Fully-Qualified-User-Name = ferretdomain\ferret1$

but sometimes i got an error message which looks like this:

User host/ferret2.ferretdomain.net was denied access.
Fully-Qualified-User-Name = ferretdomain\host/ferret2.ferretdomain.net

how could this be explained ? Any suggestions ?
