Re: Problems using PEAP with IAS installed on Windows 2003 Server SP1.

More,

I was reading a Microsoft document (PEAP.doc) titled:
The Advantages of Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol (PEAP):
A Standard Approach to User Authentication for IEEE 802.11 Wireless
Network Access.

On page it says:
· The PEAP protocol specifies an option of hiding a user's
name-that is, identity privacy. The Microsoft implementation of PEAP
does not support identity privacy at this time, but there are plans to
support it in future.

Does this mean that I "have" to use my user name and password in PEAP
phase 1 negotiations?
