Certificate installation

Hello,
I have IAS and CA installed in a W2K AD environmet for WPA, and machine account certificates rolled out through policies. I understand that AD enrollment of user certificates is only possible in a 2K3 environment - is that correct? And if it is, is there a way to avoid the need for user certificates, or install the certificate so it is used for anybody that logs on to the client? I have clients with many different users a day, so I would like to avoid having each of them install the certificate.
Thanks for any input
Anders .
