Saving EventViewer-Logfiles onto another server

Hi,

i am trying to save my eventviewer logfiles directly to another server
instead of saving it to the server which creates the logfiles.
But every time i try i get the message that authentication can´t be
processed cause the logfile can´t be written.

Is this a known error or am i just too dumb to connect a drive and save
it there ?
