    Almost all Radius compliant clients are supported in IAS, most of Cisco
    hardware are also supported including AS5xxx and Access points

    Additionally, IAS is able to authenticate users from the Local SAM account
    and from Active Directory (the later is encouraged more for centralized user
    management, and many other advantages)
