My setup:
WAP54G V2.0 firmware 2.07
WPA-RADIUS authentication EAS encryption (tried TKIP too).
server: Win2K Sp4, AD domain controller running certificate authority
and IAS.
client: Dell Ispiron 5150, WinXP SP2, Dell TrueMobile 1400 WiFi card.
Member of active directory and user logged on is as well.
I'm sure I've got the RADIUS setup right -- when something is
misconfigured I get error messages in the event log on the server.
When I try to connect i just get "Attempting to authenticate" message
in my available wireless network list, and it stays like that
permanently. When I use D-Link DWL-2100ap in the same setup it
connects almost instantly.
Spoke to Linksys' tech support escalated all the way up, no clues so
far.
I'm stumped, thinking of giving up and just going with the DWL-2100AP
