Hi,

I' m a newbie concerning IAS and Radius
I try to get users authenticated on a cisco3660 access server, using IAS on
a Win2000 stand-alone server.
This is for test purposes.

Cisco (ios 12.1.10T) is using chap and I wonder if the password is sent to
the IAS server encrypted or hashed or both.
The error I get is: invalid authentication type (auth type = MD5-chap)

What does IAS expect and how can I configure it?

Thanks for any help

Ann
