I need to export thousands of emails (one identity) from Outlook
Express 5.2 on a G3 (with OS 8.6) to Mail on a G5 (with OS 10.4) using
File transfer over Ethernet from G3 to G5 (G3 ==> G5).

1) On the G3, where is the mailbox / identity folder / emails?
2) Once I find it, can I just copy it to the G5 and give it to MAIL to
import from?
3) If not, how do I import the OE email into MAIL?

THANKS!

If you transfer the entire Mac HD:Documents:Microsoft User Data: folder from
the old machine to the new, you should be able to import the content in
Mail, but I'm only able to do this myself on new machines which have the
Classic environment installed (and hence can run OE in order to kick off the
import process).

If you need to reply directly to me, just remove the capitalised letters
from my faked e-mail address. Otherwise, please post back to the
newsgroups.
