can't change default e-mail

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Whenever I want to send a page by e-mail, my old aol outlook e-mail pops up.
I went into tools, internet options, programs and it already shows outlook
express, but it still comes up as aol. What else can I do??? Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks. Molly
