I was trying to send it to about 75 people originally. My max is usually 100
recipients. I just tried sending it to 12, 10, 8, 3, and 1 person. It sent
it to 1 person successfully everytime. It sent it to 3 people 2 out of 3
times successfully.
It sent it to 8 and 10 people 1 time successfully out of 2 times each. And
it never sent it to more than 10 successfully out of 4 or 5 tries.

Any thoughts?

I am trying to send some emails. When I send just one email it works fine
but when I send an email to several people I get an error message reading

The server reported an error. Account: 'Hotmail', Server:
'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail,
Server Response: 'Precondition Failed', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x800CCC3C

Can anyone help me?

Perhaps it depends upon your definition of "several people" as perhaps this
is an antispam measure. Can you send to two recipients? What about three?
How many recipients do you have to specify to trigger the failure?

Ricky

Well, I'd put this down to the Hotmail service rather than anything specific
on your computer, which means that you might not be able to do a lot to
resolve the problem. You could of course flag this to Hotmail support, but
whether you'd even receive a reply, let alone a fix, is open to debate.

Are you able to send mail via another mail account i.e. by using an
alternative outgoing (SMTP) mail server? If you were able to do that, the
problem would sit squarely with Hotmail.

HTH,

Ricky

If you need to reply directly to me, just remove the capitalised letters
from my faked e-mail address. Otherwise, please post back to the
