I run MS OE 5.0.6 on a three year old iMac G3 running Mac OS 9.1 with 128 MB
RAM.

Recently OE has been quitting by itself quite often displaying an error
message that an Error Type 2 took place.

I decided to compact or rebuild the database. However, whenever I launch the
program holding down the Option Key the program appears to start normally
with no special prompts (just as if I had not held down the Option Key) .

Help!
