Re: NetMeeting 3.01 Remote Desktop Disconnects Every 5 Minutes.....

I noticed this only happens when I NetMeeting from my work to my home
computer, or from home to work computer. It never happens from my home
computer to any other computer.

I'm suspecting there is some sort of a timeout set in our company
firewall (Fortigate 100), but I cannot be sure. The disconnects happen
at near-exact 5-minute intervals.

Do you know offhand if there are any timeout settings on firewalls that
might cause this?

Thanks!

Anyone have this situation occur? What is the solution? Thanks!

The problem is unlikely to be caused by Netmeeting directly. I have stayed
connected for hours or more.

I would look for a network issue of some kind.
