Cannot get email in Inbox

My ISP is netzero.
When I download my email in "Windows Mail" my emails do not get stored in
the "Inbox". I see them downloaded for just a second but then they disappear.

I think they are being stored in my NetZero email Inbox but I am not sure.
How can I get them to be stored in my "Windows Mail" inbox.

BTW....when I "forward" an email to myself from NetZero Inbox, I do receive
this email in my "Windows Mail" Inbox.

Thanks for any help because I do prefer to use Windows Mail.
